Senior .Net Applications Developer (.NET)

What you will do

• Design, develop, modernize, test, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot .NET applications across the full software development lifecycle.
• Support websites, data-entry systems, standalone and client-server applications, ASP.NET Core applications, Windows Services, and backend services.
• Develop and maintain RESTful web services and APIs, application integrations, and database connectivity.
• Implement authentication and authorization using SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, RBAC, and claims-based authentication.
• Participate in Agile Scrum planning, code reviews, CI/CD, deployment, production support, documentation, and technical analysis.
• Provide technical leadership, review developers’ work, mentor less experienced developers, and advise clients and project teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8+ years of technical analysis and software application development experience.
• Strong experience with C#, .NET 6 or greater, .NET Framework 4.8 or greater, ASP.NET Core, MVC, MVVM, Entity Framework Core, SQL Server, and Oracle.
• Experience developing RESTful web services and APIs, Windows Services, front-end integrations, and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or comparable tools.
• Experience with identity management, SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, RBAC, claims-based authentication, secure coding, and application security.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Experience in government, defense, law enforcement, healthcare, or other highly controlled technical environments.
• Experience modernizing existing .NET and .NET Framework applications and integrating multiple databases, systems, APIs, or external services.
• Experience with production troubleshooting, automated build and deployment processes, technical documentation, and client-facing requirements analysis.
