Quality Analyst

Location: Longview, TX, United States; full-time role with periodic visits to the manufacturing facility and other job sites as required.

What you will do

• Lead projects that enhance quality standards through process development, training, and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to collect data, troubleshoot issues, and streamline processes.
• Develop work instructions, procedures, training materials, and documented best practices.
• Support product inspections and audits to verify process compliance.
• Investigate quality failures, conduct trend and root cause analysis, and support continuous improvement projects.
• Educate employees on standards and documentation while adapting materials to different learning styles.

Requirements

• Associate degree, preferably in mechanical, electrical, computer, industrial, or another STEM/engineering field; relevant experience in quality, manufacturing, or data analysis may also be considered.
• Understanding of large-scale manufacturing is highly desired.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
• Familiarity with quality inspection, continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing, and process flow.
• Ability to stand and sit for extended periods, walk up and down stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in manufacturing conditions involving seasonal heat and cold, dust, chemical fume exposure, and required personal protective equipment.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher, or willingness to pursue certification.
• Experience with Publisher, Visio, and Power BI.
• ASQ certification and experience with ISO, Statistical Process Control, Lean, and continuous improvement methodologies.
