Quality Assurance Manager

Location: 100% onsite at the Bethlehem, Pennsylvania manufacturing facility, supporting four manufacturing facilities in the Bethlehem area. Approximately 15–20% travel, primarily for supplier-related activities. Standard business hours with occasional work outside conventional hours.

What you will do

• Lead and maintain the Gardner Cryogenics and Rotoflow Quality Management System in alignment with ISO 9001:2015, customer requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
• Develop and execute long-term quality strategy, objectives, KPI frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Integrate quality requirements across product design, manufacturing, testing, product release, field support, and supplier activities.
• Lead, coach, and develop Quality Assurance and Quality Control personnel.
• Oversee audits, certification activities, management reviews, controlled documentation, inspection, calibration, validation, and measurement system effectiveness.
• Drive investigations and corrective actions for nonconformances, quality escapes, customer complaints, and supplier quality issues while reducing scrap, rework, warranty claims, and other quality costs.

Requirements

• 10+ years of quality management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control teams.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, audit programs, corrective actions, continual improvement, and quality system management.
• Experience with root cause analysis, CAPA, 8D, FMEA, SPC, DMAIC, nonconformance management, and lean manufacturing.
• B.S. in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or another technical field preferred; relevant experience may substitute for a technical degree.
• Ability to work onsite in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and periodically outside conventional business hours.

Nice to have

• Experience with pressure equipment, rotating equipment, cryogenic systems, turbomachinery, industrial gas equipment, supplier quality management, or global supply chains.
• ASQ Certified Quality Manager, Certified Quality Engineer, Lead Auditor, or Lean Six Sigma certification.
• Experience supporting union and non-union manufacturing environments.
