Customs Compiler (Logistics)

Location: Onsite in Brisbane Airport, Queensland, Australia; standard work-from-home arrangements are available for 26 days.

What you will do

• Prepare customs clearance declarations for import and export shipments in compliance with national regulations and company procedures.
• Monitor client shipments from document assessment through entry pre-lodgment.
• Liaise with customers, customs authorities, DAFF, and internal colleagues to complete entries within required KPIs.
• Classify and value products, assess tariff information, and maintain supporting documentation.
• Review communications, record shipment milestones, and provide client visibility within specified timeframes.
• Identify opportunities to improve service quality and operational processes.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience classifying a broad range of products.
• Knowledge of government regulations and international freight shipping terms.
• Previous experience with quarantine clearance, including COLS processing and BMSB measures.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Brisbane Airport, Australia.
