2027 Summer Intern - Technology Analyst, Software Engineering, EMEA

Location: London, United Kingdom; internship positions are located at hirify.global's London office.

What you will do

• Develop internal-use software solutions that support investment decisions, portfolio risk management, and client service.
• Apply complex analytical methods to massive datasets to manage risk and identify alpha opportunities.
• Create and improve applications used to execute investment strategies and support portfolio managers.
• Build tools and platforms for analyzing and testing data with big data analytics.
• Streamline trade-floor processes, trade execution, and transaction costs.
• Collaborate with engineers, developers, investment professionals, and analytics teams during a 10-week summer internship.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree, with expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Available to begin full-time employment at a hirify.global office between January 2028 and August 2028.
• On track to achieve at least a 2.1 degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
• Business proficiency in English.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C#, or C++.
• Experience with SQL, relational database management systems, or data warehouses, plus strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

• Experience using emerging technologies and AI tools in work or academic projects.
