Software Engineer, Summer Intern UK (AI)

Location: London, UK; most days in the Milan office during the first few months. After the initial period, work is available from company offices or remotely from approved countries, subject to agreement at the offer stage.

Typical annual salary: £85,797–£151,436 in London. Exceptional offers may reach £316,052; permanent-contract candidates may receive part of their compensation in discounted company equity.

What you will do

• Build and ship software used by millions of customers, taking ownership from idea through production.
• Use AI tools throughout design, implementation, testing, and documentation while maintaining correctness, reliability, and maintainability.
• Work across diverse technology stacks and choose appropriate tools for each engineering challenge.
• Develop and evolve monoliths, microservices, gRPC and REST services, and containerized systems using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Simplify architectures, pipelines, and codebases to improve scalability and maintainability.

Requirements

• Outstanding student based in the UK.
• Internship availability from June to September 2027.
