Software Engineer Intern - Summer 2027 (DV Commodities) (C++/Python)

Location: London; onsite at the London office 5 days a week

What you will do

• Build low-latency applications, systems, and trading tools for commodity trading teams.
• Deliver well-scoped, self-contained projects within an established production codebase.
• Develop functionality that integrates cleanly with mature systems.
• Work in small groups with software development and trading teams.
• Use AI coding tools to accelerate development while taking ownership of shipped code.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Expected graduation between Winter 2027 and Summer 2028.
• Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages, including C++ and/or Python.
• Ability to read and navigate an existing codebase and deliver a contained project within it.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, ideally applied to numerical or performance-sensitive problems.
• Ability to work onsite at the London office 5 days a week.
