Investment Banking Associate – Healthcare Public Finance (New York)

What you will do

• Support the execution of healthcare financing and M&A transactions, including financial modeling and industry and comparable company analysis.
• Develop new business proposals, client pitches, presentations, and RFP responses.
• Evaluate client debt profiles, financing opportunities, merger scenarios, forecasts, and valuations.
• Prepare financial analyses, including bond cash flows, market conditions, and bond financing materials.
• Contribute to all stages of financing transactions, from credit analysis and legal document review through rating agency presentations and closing.
• Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders while managing multiple priorities independently and collaboratively.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• At least two years of experience in healthcare investment banking, consulting, equity research, investment management, business development, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, writing, verbal, presentation, and computer skills.
• Ability to manage multiple detailed assignments in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships, manage senior banker expectations, and work proactively.
• SIE exam required or must be passed within six months of hire; FINRA Series 63 and 79, and possibly Series 52, are also required or must be passed within six months.
