Program Manager

Location: Oak Brook, Illinois, United States; full-time onsite role

Salary: $102,600–$193,425 per year, plus comprehensive benefits, 401(k) contribution, and eligibility for a short-term incentive plan.

What you will do

• Lead one or more large or platform programs and coordinate globally distributed, cross-functional teams.
• Build program teams, run stakeholder meetings, establish deliverables and accountability, and communicate progress and results.
• Guide measures, impact assessments, roadblock removal, conflict resolution, and scope-change decisions.
• Prepare executive-level product, forum, and New Product Development presentations for audiences up to and including the CEO.
• Deliver New Product Development training worldwide and maintain training materials as a subject matter expert.
• Lead process-improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with New Product Development and business processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, applied science, finance, business, management, or economics.
• Strong written, verbal, analytical, presentation, listening, and reading-comprehension skills.
• Experience leading stakeholder meetings and engineering teams in a matrix environment.
• Knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and transparency.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Project, scheduling techniques, and best practices.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and Agile tools such as Jira or equivalent.

Nice to have

• PMP certification.
• Advanced degree in a directly applicable field.
