Assoc Manager Product Designer

Location: El Segundo, California, United States; onsite full-time

Salary: USD 115,000–140,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead and inspire designers across Hot Wheels Licensed Entertainment tracks, playsets, vehicle designs, and accessories.
• Create and execute product design visions and develop innovative concepts for children and families.
• Ideate, sketch, illustrate, generate rough models, and support final modeling and production.
• Guide, mentor, and develop designers while maximizing team capabilities and supporting future design leaders.
• Collaborate with Consumer Insights, Marketing, Packaging, Engineering, Product Management, international partners, and external vendors.
• Present concepts clearly, build organizational buy-in, and manage multiple projects across varying levels of complexity.

Requirements

• 5+ years of cross-functional experience in product development.
• 2+ years of experience leading people and managing two or more groups of individuals.
• At least 2 years of experience in a production-related capacity.
• Strong understanding of toy product design and development, including vehicle design, production, and entertainment products.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple parallel projects, solve problems proactively, adapt to changing challenges, and make data-driven strategic decisions.
