TL;DR
TEG Clinical Specialist (Houston) (Field Sales) (Medical Devices): Driving clinical adoption and sales growth of TEG hemostasis products across hospital accounts with an accent on customer training, case support, and critical care applications. Focus on supporting go-lives, expanding usage across VAD/ECMO, trauma, cardiovascular, obstetrics, liver transplant, vascular, and critical care settings, and solving clinical and operational customer needs.

Location: Remote within the designated US Texas territory; candidates must currently reside within this territory and be located approximately 45 minutes from a major airport. Up to 25% domestic travel, including day and overnight travel, is required.

Salary: $84,700–$157,300 annually, plus potential sales incentives and other applicable compensation.

What you will do

  • Manage the existing TEG customer territory and grow product utilization, account revenue, and the customer base.
  • Train clinicians on TEG equipment, software, disposables, clinical applications, and interpretation of TEG results.
  • Provide onsite case support, go-live assistance, after-hours support, and education across laboratories, critical care units, operating rooms, and other clinical settings.
  • Support VAD/ECMO, trauma, cardiovascular, high-risk obstetrics, liver transplant, vascular, and critical care customers.
  • Partner with Account Managers and Implementation teams on installations, validation, verification, training, competency, SOPs, IQCP development, logistics, and ordering needs.
  • Develop relationships with clinicians and C-level decision-makers, monitor competition, support upgrades and launches, and provide market feedback to sales, marketing, and R&D.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, with RN qualification, or a related clinical field is required.
  • At least 3 years of industry or clinically related experience, preferably with complex medical devices or in critical care environments.
  • Experience communicating with senior medical professionals and monitoring hemostasis in settings such as ICU/CICU, emergency rooms, trauma, or other critical care environments.
  • Current residence within the designated US Texas territory is required.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 25% and provide onsite and occasional after-hours customer support.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in arts, science, or business administration.
  • Experience operating a TEG Analyzer, interpreting results, and manipulating TEG software.
