Strategist, Business Solutions (Marketing)

Location: Los Angeles, California; hybrid work arrangement

Salary: $66,300–$80,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Support senior strategists and supervisors with media planning and client deliverables.
• Create and maintain flowcharts, plan sheets, cost worksheets, trackers, presentation frameworks, and team timelines.
• Use consumer research tools such as YouGov, MRI, and eMarketer Cadence to identify trends and insights for media recommendations.
• Coordinate traffic instructions, deadlines, billing, budgets, and deliverable tracking.
• Build communication with clients and media partners while serving as a key point of contact.
• Collaborate with internal departments, identify problems, recommend solutions, and support team members’ development.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of previous media planning experience; experience across multiple media channels is preferred.
• Strong writing, presentation, communication, critical-thinking, problem-solving, organization, and time-management skills.
• Understanding of media math, terminology, and analytical tools such as MRI and Nielsen.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including their application to the media planning process.
• Experience managing client relationships and developing and presenting media plan presentations.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and follow-through.
