IT Network Manager (Network Infrastructure)

Location: Leeds, United Kingdom; hybrid work with at least two days per week in an assigned hirify.global office

What you will do

• Lead, develop, and support a team of network engineers while building a collaborative and accountable culture.
• Manage priorities, team capacity, demand planning, workload, and resource allocation.
• Deliver reliable, scalable, and secure network services across enterprise, data centre, WAN, and cloud environments.
• Drive network automation, infrastructure-as-code, DevOps practices, and a “you build it, you run it” service ownership model.
• Act as a senior escalation point for complex network incidents and coordinate resolution and follow-up.
• Oversee vendor relationships, project delivery, documentation, reporting, monitoring, risk management, and disaster recovery planning.

Requirements

• Experience leading and developing network engineering teams in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Strong people leadership, coaching, team development, prioritisation, and capacity management skills.
• Broad knowledge of enterprise networking, data centre networking, routing, switching, WAN, firewalls, and cloud networking.
• Understanding of network security controls including IDS/IPS, NAC, access control, and zero-trust principles.
• Experience with incident, problem, change, monitoring, availability, and capacity management.
• Strong communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in DevOps or product-aligned environments.
• Familiarity with Azure or GCP cloud networking.
• Experience in regulated environments.
