What you will do

• Provide pre-sales technical support to public sector customers and prospects across the United Kingdom.
• Partner with Account Managers to identify customer challenges, gather requirements, conduct network architecture sessions, and deliver product presentations.
• Architect, design, and propose data center, routing, campus, and security solutions.
• Run customer proof-of-concepts and initial network deployments using current networking products and features.
• Lead technical responses to RFPs and RFQs, and manage customer feature requests through implementation and deployment.
• Provide feedback to Product Management and Development, represent Arista at industry events, and author technical content.

Requirements

• Active Developed Vetting (DV) clearance is required.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, is required.
• Technical degree and experience in network design and implementation.
• Practical experience with routing and switching protocols, including Spanning Tree, OSPF, ISIS, BGP, VXLAN, EVPN, Multicast, QoS, and network segmentation.
• Recent experience designing data center, routing, or campus network architectures, with strong presentation skills and customer-facing communication.
• Ability to travel nationally to support customers; experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales Systems Engineer, or Network Consulting Engineer is preferred.

Nice to have

• Service Provider or campus networking knowledge.
• Practical security deployment experience and recent hands-on CLI experience.
• Experience or interest in NetOps/DevOps using Python and Ansible.
• CCIE, JNCIE, or an equivalent industry certification.
• Understanding of competitor technology landscapes.
