Operational Finance Intern

Location: Houston, TX (TAS-Cullen HQ); onsite, with at least 80% to 95% of work performed at a desk

What you will do

• Support daily accounting operations, including data entry and account reconciliations.
• Prepare financial records, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation.
• Review, analyze, and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and fixed-asset documentation.
• Verify financial data, identify discrepancies, and perform basic analysis.
• Maintain accounting files and provide administrative and ad hoc support to the accounting team.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an Accounting-related degree program.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience working as part of a team.
• Ability to work onsite in Houston, Texas.
• Ability to follow confidentiality, internal control, and company policy requirements.
