Intern Accounting (Finance)

Location: Mankato, Minnesota, United States; hybrid with up to 50% work from home

Salary: $19–$20 USD per hour

What you will do

• Provide financial accounting services for internal and external clients.
• Support the patronage dividend process, including estates, transfers, retirements, outstanding checks, patronage agreements, and unclaimed property.
• Provide internal, regulatory, and external reporting services.
• Balance the general ledger as appropriate.
• Answer questions and resolve issues related to the patronage program in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Working toward an Accounting or Finance degree with 1–2 years of experience.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Access, and other computer software applications.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Detail orientation, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
