TL;DR
Principal Signal Integrity Engineer (High-Speed Semiconductor Interconnects): Developing and validating signal and power integrity models for PCBs, packages, MLOs, probe cards, and related high-speed interconnects with an accent on transmission lines, PDNs, impedance targets, and interface performance. Focus on electromagnetic and circuit simulation, VNA/TDR/TDT validation, simulation-to-measurement correlation, and optimizing PCIe, HBM, and SerDes designs.
Location: Gyeonggi-Do, Korea; onsite full-time

What you will do
- Perform signal and power integrity analysis for high-speed interconnects across PCBs, packages, MLOs, and probe cards.
- Develop and validate electrical models for transmission lines, vias, connectors, and power distribution networks.
- Define stack-ups, impedance targets, routing constraints, design guidelines, and best practices.
- Run electromagnetic and circuit simulations, including frequency-domain and time-domain analysis, channel models, IBIS-AMI, eye diagrams, and what-if studies.
- Define and execute validation plans using VNA, TDR, TDT, and high-speed measurement setups, driving simulation-to-measurement correlation and root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and customers across California, Europe, and Asia while supporting probe card and load board product development and next-generation architectures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 4 years of relevant signal integrity and power integrity analysis and design experience; the stated education and experience section specifies 5 years with a bachelor’s degree, 3 years with a master’s degree, or a PhD without experience.
- Strong understanding of transmission line theory, power integrity principles, crosstalk, and signal degradation mechanisms.
- Experience with HFSS, ADS, SIwave, PowerSI, PowerDC, SPICE/PSpice, Allegro, and MATLAB.
- Analytical problem-solving, debugging, data interpretation, modeling, cross-functional communication, and engineering judgment in defining model accuracy requirements.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with VNA and TDR/TDT measurement tools.
- Experience with PAM4, SerDes, PCIe, HBM, advanced packaging, probe cards, or fine-pitch interconnects.
- Scripting and automation experience with Python or MATLAB.
