TL;DR
Intern - Analog Design Engineer (Mixed-Signal IC): Developing and industrializing configurable mixed-signal semiconductor products and high-performance analog IPs with an accent on transistor- and system-level architecture, PVT performance, and silicon-proven circuit design. Focus on modeling analog circuits, validating IPs through measurement and ATE data analysis, and solving performance and functional issues across design, layout, digital, and test engineering.

Location: Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea; Pangyo. Full-time onsite work; remote work is not available. Fixed-term assignment of 6 months.

What you will do

  • Understand transistor- and system-level architectures for configurable mixed-signal products.
  • Develop and validate high-precision analog blocks and high-performance, silicon-proven analog IP across process, voltage, and temperature variations.
  • Collaborate with digital, layout, characterization, and test engineering teams on trimming, control, layout effects, and test coverage.
  • Evaluate IPs using laboratory equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes, and analyze ATE and CHZ data against product specifications.
  • Model analog and mixed-signal circuits for top-level testbenches and support datasheet review and corrections.
  • Participate in root cause analysis of performance and functional issues and document conclusions clearly.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in electrical engineering with semiconductor design experience using CMOS.
  • Strong knowledge of analog and mixed-signal circuit architecture, design, and layout, including amplifiers, comparators, bandgaps, generators, oscillators, regulators, data converters, and digital logic.
  • Background in analog and digital IC design, layout, design tools, semiconductor processes, and measurement.
  • Understanding of mixed-signal design flow and top-down development for optimizing power, performance, and area.
  • Experience with simulation tools such as Cadence, Verilog, and Python, plus semiconductor reliability and failure analysis.
  • Strong English communication skills for collaboration and technical writing with teams in different countries.
