Licensed Optician - Assistant Manager

What you will do

• Oversee daily store and eyeglass department operations, including personnel management, inventory control, operating costs, budgets, and resources.
• Drive sales, profit, performance, customer service, and quality goals according to company standards.
• Supervise, motivate, lead, and coach Opticians and customer-lifecycle sales associates.
• Execute merchandising, marketing initiatives, pricing promotions, and operational policies.
• Support staffing forecasts, recruiting, selection, retention, and development of associates.
• Mentor Apprentice Opticians where permitted by law.

Requirements

• Maintain the optical license required by the state.
• Optical sales experience; supervisory experience is preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach, build associate relationships, and manage store operations.
• Strong oral and written communication, customer service, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze, create, and understand financial reports.
• ABO and NCLE certification.
