Market Analysis Specialist (Energy Transition)

What you will do

• Evaluate current and emerging energy transition segments, including LNG, nuclear, bioenergy and e-fuels, renewables, and energy storage.
• Assess market size, growth, profitability, technology evolution, and the impact of market developments on the existing product portfolio.
• Analyze competitor strategies, moves, and financial performance, and develop market models to support growth strategies.
• Support annual Strategic Plan activities by synthesizing market intelligence, financial plans, key results, and implementation roadmaps.
• Support Energy Transition strategy and M&A initiatives, including target evaluation, strategic rationale, financial forecasts, and synergy models.
• Share market intelligence with Strategy, Portfolio, Sales, Marketing, Commercial, Engineering, and R&D teams, while developing implementation plans and monitoring tools.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in a similar market analysis, strategy, or analytics role.
• Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel and proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with market sizing, trend analysis, segmentation, opportunity identification, and quantitative data manipulation.
• Prior experience in a strategy consulting firm or B2B industrial company.
• Ability to work across multifunctional teams in a matrix organization and influence diverse stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration skills, and a can-do attitude.

Nice to have

• Experience or knowledge in energy transition, sustainability, or decarbonization.
• An analytical undergraduate degree in Engineering, Science, or Economics.
