Associate Actuary, Annuity Pricing - Life and Annuity Solutions

Location: Onsite in Addison, Texas, or Montpelier, Vermont; four office days per week on Monday through Thursday. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $121,875–$178,750 USD per year.

What you will do

• Support and lead the design and pricing of indexed and fixed annuity products and features.
• Develop and oversee actuarial models to set rates, evaluate profitability, and analyze sensitivities.
• Review experience studies, establish pricing assumptions, and communicate pricing results to senior actuaries and risk committees.
• Prepare or review product specifications, actuarial reports, regulatory filing materials, and policy forms.
• Present product features and actuarial results to distribution leadership, senior management, project teams, and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate external actuarial consultants, mentor actuarial students and analysts, and support legal and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• FSA or career ASA designation from the Society of Actuaries.
• At least six years of actuarial experience with in-depth knowledge of annuity products and benefits.
• Solid financial modeling experience using actuarial software, preferably MG-ALFA.
• Working knowledge of valuation, nonforfeiture, tax, risk-based capital, and other relevant regulations and standards.
• Ability to design and develop annuity products with distribution leadership and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills; successful completion of a background check may include fingerprinting.
