TL;DR

Location: Predominantly on-site at the Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site in Richland, Washington, with some remote support subject to approval.

What you will do

  • Edit, proofread, and produce high-quality technical documents for the Hanford Field Office.
  • Manage document reviews, controlled documents, templates, and retention requirements.
  • Lead redlines of safety basis documents.
  • Develop management planning documents and support programmatic, project controls, and business activities.
  • Support senior management and help ensure compliance with project management policies.
  • Collaborate on technical editing and document-control functions in a high-volume, regulated nuclear cleanup environment.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of technical writing or editing experience in regulated environments.
  • BA/BS in English, Technical Communication, or a STEM field.
  • Experience with editing, controlled documents, and proofreading.
  • Strong attention to detail, collaboration, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work predominantly on-site at the Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site in Richland, Washington.
  • Facility Clearance and, when required by the task, the applicable DOE clearance.

Nice to have

  • Environmental Management sector experience.
  • Experience supporting DOE or other federal clients.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data analytics tools, and Visio.
