Senior AOI Technician (Electronics Manufacturing): Managing and maintaining automated optical inspection equipment for mixed-technology electronic products with an accent on equipment programming, calibration, failure analysis, and inspection quality. Location: Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico; onsite, full-time

What you will do
- Operate, maintain, calibrate, and update automated optical inspection equipment used for mixed-technology electronic products.
- Generate, update, debug, monitor, and back up inspection equipment programs and control software.
- Verify material flow and product quality across the applicable process levels.
- Monitor acceptance-rate metrics, coverage reports, lost-time reports, and equipment condition.
- Improve equipment detection for customer-reported leaks and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate equipment needs, repairs, service parts, and technical support with quality, production, and maintenance personnel.
Requirements
- Degree in electronics engineering or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position and experience in mixed-technology electronic manufacturing.
- Experience with inspection equipment programming, failure analysis, calibration, and preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Knowledge of SMT, through-hole, manual soldering, and mechanical assembly processes.
- Ability to interpret assembly drawings, bills of materials, product documentation, schematics, and IPC-A-610 requirements.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, RoHS, ESD, basic electronics, and basic electrical/electronic measurement equipment; basic English required.
