Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; on-site. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, conditional residents, asylees, refugees, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. government authorizations.

What you will do

• Establish, implement, and maintain quality management system procedures and processes.
• Resolve nonconformances with cross-functional teams using failure analysis, root cause analysis, corrective action, and 8D methodologies.
• Evaluate supplier performance, conduct supplier audits, and report quality metrics.
• Investigate supplier nonconformances and drive corrective actions.
• Lead process improvement projects and develop measurable quality objectives.
• Manage QMS training and support internal and external audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with continuous quality improvement in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with AS9100 or ISO9001 quality management system compliance.
• Strong attention to detail, procedural discipline, and interpersonal collaboration skills.
• Eligibility under U.S. Space Technology Export Regulations is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in the aerospace or electronics industry.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
