Manufacturing Technician 1 (Temporary)

Location: Livermore, California; on-site night shift

Salary: $19.30–$25.36 per hour, plus a 15% night-shift differential

What you will do

• Perform routine probe card manufacturing operations, including photolithography, thin film processing, etching, plating, assembly, testing, and inspection.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate manufacturing equipment according to documented procedures.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting to support equipment reliability and process stability.
• Collect, document, and evaluate operating and process data for equipment adjustments and process optimization.
• Maintain production documentation, logs, and reports to ensure traceability and process control.
• Collaborate with engineering and senior technicians on experiments, continuous improvement, lean initiatives, corrective actions, and new product or process development.

Requirements

• Less than one year of related experience; no formal occupational training is typically required.
• Ability to follow safety, quality, cleanroom, and documented work procedures.
• Cleanroom operations, microscope use, mathematics, computer literacy, and Microsoft Office skills.
• Manual dexterity, problem-solving ability, communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
• Availability for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to 6:15 a.m.
