Field Service Technician II (X-Ray)

Location: Hebron, Kentucky, USA, with daily travel to customer locations including the airport. Monday–Friday work is typical, but overtime, travel, and work outside standard hours may be required.

Salary: $74,360–$100,540 per year, plus a Business Profit Plan and benefits.

What you will do

• Install, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot field equipment, including Trace and X-Ray technologies.
• Respond to daily service needs, provide technical support and customer training, and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Document inspections, maintenance, repairs, open issues, and customer reports.
• Order, install, and return parts while managing repair cycle time and controlling service costs.
• Maintain and calibrate tools and test equipment; assess equipment performance and recommend improvements.
• Participate in site surveys, pilot service activities, meetings, and service sales initiatives.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree, related electrical/electronic/mechanical trade certification, military technical training, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical and electronic systems and equipment in the field.
• Computer literacy, proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, and the ability to learn specialized software.
• Strong communication, organization, customer service, teamwork, and multitasking skills; willingness to travel at short notice.
• Must obtain Sensitive Security Information access and pass TSA vetting and a federal background investigation.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 lb, operate material-handling equipment, maintain full-body mobility, and work safely around dangerous industrial equipment.
