Salary: $112,500–$172,950 per year in California; national range: $91,220–$172,990 per year.

What you will do

• Provide tax, accounting, and advisory services to nonprofit clients.
• Oversee bookkeeping, accounting records, and prepared or compiled financial statements.
• Lead client engagements, analyze reporting, and advise clients on accounting and business matters.
• Improve client-service processes, identify internal-control issues, and recommend business improvements.
• Manage client relationships, engagement staffing, billing, collections, and profitability targets.
• Delegate work and support the professional development of associates.

Requirements

• Four-year degree required; a master's or other advanced degree is desirable.
• CPA, law license, or Enrolled Agent credential required.
• Five years of nonprofit or corporate tax compliance, accounting, and advisory experience in a professional services firm.
• Two years of supervisory experience, including mentoring and counseling associates.
• Strong management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship is preferred.

Nice to have

• Nonprofit industry experience in a public accounting environment.
• Master's degree or other advanced degree.
