FPGA Engineer II (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Develop FPGA circuits and systems through design, verification, testing, and deployment.
• Create HDL designs for high-speed serial interfaces, data streams, digital processing cores, and management interfaces.
• Implement and manage multiple clocks and clock domains.
• Perform testing, validation, and verification of FPGA designs.
• Collaborate across engineering functions in a hands-on, autonomous startup environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• At least 2 years of industry experience designing, analyzing, and implementing FPGA systems at the HDL level.
• Expertise in FPGA design and verification using Verilog or VHDL, HDL Coder, Xilinx Vivado, ModelSim, or similar tools.
• Hands-on experience with digital oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF signal generators, and vector signal analyzers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, conditional resident, asylee, refugee, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. government authorizations.

Nice to have

• Aerospace design and qualification experience.
• Worst-case, failure mode and criticality, and reliability analysis experience.
• Board-level hardware design experience.
• Familiarity with communications systems and digital signal processing.
