Associate Director, Data Operations

Compensation: USD $112,290–$179,712 annually

What you will do

• Lead the Data Ops team, supporting employee development, coaching, mentoring, and career growth.
• Architect data flows and develop strategies for reliable, efficient, and accessible marketing data delivery.
• Advise clients on Data Ops capabilities and expand client work involving dedicated Data Ops teams.
• Review SQL scripts and data flows built with tools such as Alteryx and Google Dataprep.
• Evaluate platforms and solutions that simplify or automate media and site data processes.
• Develop roadmaps, technology strategies, documentation, process improvements, and data quality standards.

Requirements

• 7–9 years of applicable analytics experience in an advertising agency, management consulting, or ad tech company.
• Experience managing teams and multiple projects across teams, with strong client relationship and communication skills.
• Four-year college degree; an advanced degree is a plus.
• Proficiency with SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
• Experience with Alteryx is required.
• Knowledge of digital data technologies, including Google Analytics and Google Marketing Platforms.

Nice to have

• Knowledge and experience with Python and/or R.
• Experience with Google Cloud and AWS.
• Familiarity with prompt-based interaction and generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, DALL·E, or Midjourney.
