Systems Architect (Edge AI/ML)

What you will do

• Define reference architectures, design patterns, and standards for deploying AI/ML models on edge devices and platforms.
• Establish approaches for data ingestion, feature pipelines, model inference, performance optimization, monitoring, updates, and lifecycle management.
• Enable edge AI capabilities including condition monitoring, vision-based sensing, anomaly detection, and predictive insights.
• Guide architecture for edge compute constraints, sensor integration, real-time workloads, and interoperability across devices, mobile applications, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems.
• Define secure-by-design and safety-aligned principles and participate in architecture reviews covering risk, resilience, quality, and compliance.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural guidance across product, software, data, cloud, manufacturing, service, and mobile application teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience delivering AI/ML-enabled solutions, including model deployment in edge or resource-constrained environments.
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML architecture, model lifecycle management, and real-time edge inference.
• Experience balancing performance, accuracy, latency, and resource constraints across sensors, devices, edge platforms, mobile applications, and cloud services.
• Strong communication, stakeholder influence, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with industrial, connected, or safety-critical systems is preferred; a master’s degree is also preferred.

• Familiarity with industrial automation, IoT ecosystems, or computer vision.
