Transportation Operations Coordinator (Logistics)

Location: Customer onsite in Ellenwood, Georgia, USA

What you will do

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments with customers, freight forwarders, carriers, warehouses, 3PLs, and other service providers.
• Manage warehouse inbound and outbound transportation, trailer and warehouse capacity, pickups, deliveries, and shipment status monitoring.
• Drive carrier and service provider performance across hub-and-spoke locations and Google warehouse vendor operations.
• Build customer relationships, resolve logistics issues, and serve as the primary contact for transportation-related inquiries.
• Collect and interpret operational data, develop carrier KPIs and metrics, and identify corrective actions for delivery issues.
• Improve shipping and receiving processes, bottlenecks, and standard operating procedures while meeting agreed KPIs and OKRs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or transportation is preferred.
• Experience with logistics software and systems, including ERP, transportation management systems, and warehouse management systems.
• Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
• Effective communication, negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Typing speed of 45 words per minute.
