What you will do

• Review phases of exterior wall construction projects, including shop drawings, modeling, design development, and construction documents.
• Conduct field reviews and progress inspections on designated projects.
• Maintain reports, technical documentation, schedules, work estimates, and project activity records.
• Coordinate with Project Managers on project progression and completion.
• Build relationships with clients, contractors, management teams, and design teams.
• Present technical project information and occasionally deliver white papers or case studies to technical teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Architectural, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in building envelope design, inspection, development, or engineering.
• Knowledge of architectural design concepts and structural concepts related to exterior wall construction.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and modeling or drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM.

Nice to have

• OSHA or ICC certification.
• SPRAT certification.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
• Drone operator experience or certification.
