What you will do

• Provide compassionate daily care for residents with dementia under the supervision of nursing leadership.
• Take and record vital signs, measurements, and fluid intake and output.
• Assist with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort services, and other activities of daily living.
• Transfer, position, and turn residents; provide skin care and nursing rehabilitation or restorative nursing services.
• Recognize and report changes in residents’ condition, issues, concerns, suspected abuse, or neglect.
• Support resident dignity, independence, informed decision-making, confidentiality, and emotional and social well-being.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination.
• At least 1 year of clinical or nursing experience.
• CNA licensure in accordance with applicable state requirements and regulations.
• Acceptable English proficiency is required to perform duties, communicate with supervisors and colleagues, and respond to emergencies.
• Basic computer skills, effective verbal and written communication, and the ability to handle multiple tasks safely as part of a team.
