Med Tech (Part-time / Per Diem)

Location: 814 Wyckoff Avenue, Mahwah, New Jersey, USA

Compensation: $21.31–$24.00 per hour, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Provide quality care and services to residents and their families.
• Administer or assist with self-administration of prescribed medications according to care plans and physician orders.
• Maintain accurate medication records and other medical documentation under RN delegation.
• Deliver resident care while protecting comfort, privacy, and dignity.
• Complete required medication training and attend scheduled in-service training.
• Follow federal, state, local, and community regulations and procedures.

Requirements

• Current New Jersey Medication Aid Certification required.
• New Jersey CNA or HHA Certification required.
• At least six months of experience working with seniors in assisted living, home health, hospital, or long-term care is preferred.
• Ability to work weekends required.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, bend, kneel, crouch, communicate, and use fine and gross motor skills.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and support residents using proper body mechanics.
