Sr Construction & CRE Loan Administrator

What you will do

• Review, close, and process loan modifications, extensions, payments, rate changes, payoffs, releases, and exceptions.
• Administer construction draws by reviewing budgets, balancing loans and letter-of-credit exposure, and evaluating inspection reports.
• Identify and resolve construction and title issues while confirming compliance with loan documents, procedures, and required approvals.
• Administer swapped loans when assigned, including onboarding swaps, reconciling monthly billing, and processing loan and swap payments.
• Coordinate loan closings, due diligence, client data collection, approval and document review, initial draw requests, funding requests, and post-closing exceptions.
• Collaborate with loan closers, relationship and portfolio managers, counsel, borrowers, compliance, credit, title companies, inspectors, and insurers.

Requirements

• At least four years of financial industry experience, including two years in loan administration or loan operations.
• Knowledge of loan documentation and lending regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a post-secondary degree is preferred.
• Ability to interface effectively with customers, internal and external counsel, compliance, credit, title companies, inspectors, insurance companies, and other external contacts.
• Availability for additional working hours during peak periods when required to meet service levels.

Nice to have

• Commercial or construction real estate loan administration experience.
• Understanding of interest rate swaps.
• Post-secondary degree.
