DevOps Manager (AWS)

Location: Boston, MA, US; onsite

Salary: $103,600–$176,400 annually, plus potential discretionary annual bonus and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a growing team of DevOps and Automation Engineers.
• Define and execute the DevOps roadmap with TechOps, Engineering, QA, Regulatory, InfoSec, and Quality teams.
• Manage automated infrastructure across AWS and hybrid environments using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
• Improve CI/CD, release automation, rollback strategies, and zero-downtime deployments.
• Drive high availability, disaster recovery, observability, incident response, reliability, and cloud cost optimization.
• Ensure infrastructure and operations support HIPAA, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, and IEC 62304 compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, IT automation, or system administration.
• 3+ years of experience managing or leading technical teams.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, and CloudTrail.
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, hybrid and on-premises deployments, networking, security, and cloud best practices.
• Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or PowerShell, plus monitoring and observability experience with Splunk, CloudWatch, or Datadog.
