Contracts Manager (Renewable Energy)

Location: Fully remote or San Diego, California headquarters; applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship

Salary: $112,058–$137,271 per year

What you will do

• Negotiate and execute EPC contracts for utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects.
• Review commercial terms, exhibits, and specifications while identifying contractual risks and liabilities.
• Collaborate with Legal, Pre-Construction, Business Development, Finance, Operations, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization, revenue growth, risk reduction, and improved profitability.
• Own and improve contract management processes and systems, including documentation, version control, milestones, and obligations.
• Report on contracting performance, compliance, and KPIs while leading and mentoring the Contracts Administrator.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in contract management and contract review, preferably in utility-scale renewable energy or power generation.
• Strong knowledge of utility-scale solar and battery EPC concepts, scopes of work, commercial and legal principles, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, analytical, leadership, and team-building skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Primavera P6, and contract management software.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.
