Technology Strategy / Sourcing Consultant

Location: London, United Kingdom. Hybrid working requires attendance in the office or on a client site at least 2 days per week, with up to 5 days per week on a client site depending on the assignment. Applicants must be British citizens or have been continuously resident in the UK for the past 5 years to meet potential security-clearance requirements.

What you will do

• Design sourcing strategies balancing internal and external IT and business process services.
• Shape sourcing solutions, business cases, contracts, and supplier engagements.
• Develop global operating and delivery models supporting modern digital ways of working.
• Lead complex transition programmes and workstreams transforming IT and business services.
• Build new organisations, cultures, supplier relationships, and service delivery models.

Requirements

• Proven experience in sourcing, strategy, and transformation within an IT or digital setting.
• Broad knowledge of the technology services marketplace, including outsourcing application, infrastructure, and workplace services.
• Experience defining business and IT services, requirements, and SLAs.
• Experience across the outsourcing lifecycle, including strategy, delivery, transition, service optimisation, remediation, business cases, cost models, and commercial models.
• Experience shaping procurement strategies and commercial solutions.
• Expertise in technology delivery disciplines such as IT strategy, IT service management, agile delivery, or IT project management.

Nice to have

• Previous consultancy experience.
• Experience contributing to major consulting or supplier bid and proposal development.
• Exposure to cloud, SaaS, and AI solutions.
