What you will do
- Administer the EHS program at floor level under the direction of the EHS Manager.
- Conduct daily shop walkthroughs, safety inspections, audits, and periodic EHS risk assessments across Houston-area TAS facilities and customer locations.
- Promote proactive hazard identification and mitigation through behavior-based safety programs, observation cards, and trend analysis.
- Investigate and document accidents, incidents, and near misses, and help implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Develop effective JSAs with Supervisors and Leads, conduct safety meetings and training, and assist with incident management and EHS reports.
- Monitor applicable laws, regulations, standards, and regulatory guidance to support ongoing EHS program compliance.
Requirements
- At least two years of supervisory experience leading and coaching employees.
- Experience leading safety meetings and applying OSHA Standards CFR 1910 for general industry.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Completion of OSHA 511 training or equivalent, with ability to attend additional specialized training as recommended.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, plus the ability to mentor and coach employees on safety guidelines.
- Good written and verbal English is required.

- Experience writing and teaching JSAs.
- Experience leading and developing training programs.
- Experience recognizing and mitigating hazards in shop and manufacturing environments.
- Ability to recommend improvements to EHS program performance based on floor observations and experience.
