What you will do

  • Review radiological control programs to verify compliance with legal, regulatory, and safety standards.
  • Analyze dosimetry data and support ALARA planning.
  • Interpret radiological surveys and prepare compliance reports.
  • Maintain ALARA committee data packages.
  • Provide radiological compliance and general support services to the Hanford Field Office.
  • Perform periodic field verifications and coordinate approved travel as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Physics or a related field.
  • Rad Worker qualification.
  • 5–8+ years of radiological control experience; DOE experience is preferred.
  • Experience with dosimetry, ALARA, and survey interpretation.
  • Accuracy, risk awareness, communication, teamwork, and sound judgment.
  • Facility Clearance is required; DOE clearance may be required depending on the assigned work.

Nice to have

  • Environmental Management sector experience.
  • Experience supporting DOE Environmental Management or Hanford Field Office programs.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word, plus Adobe Acrobat, data analytics tools, and Visio.
