HazMat Field Driver/Technician - CDL (B) (Hazardous Waste)

Location: Miami, FL, USA; full-time field and route-based work, Monday through Friday, with variable scheduling that may include 3–4 overnight shifts per week.

What you will do

• Safely operate Class B trucks, tractor-trailers, roll-offs, tankers, box trucks, and other vehicle configurations.
• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste and perform LTL pickups at generator sites.
• Maintain logbooks, permits, trip reports, waste manifests, and other driver documentation.
• Apply DOT requirements for hazardous waste collection, packaging, placarding, labeling, load segregation, and securement.
• Complete DOT/MOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections and comply with state weight-limit laws.
• Interact with customers, support facility housekeeping, and assist with lab pack and field service projects.

Requirements

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License with hazardous material and tanker endorsements is required, or endorsements must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Motor vehicle record must meet company policy standards.
• Ability to pass 40-hour HAZWOPER training upon hire.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical loading and unloading tasks.
• Strong attention to detail, instruction-following, prioritization, and communication skills.
