TL;DR
Revit Structure Designer (Packaged Modular Systems): Creating and maintaining 3D models, equipment layouts, assemblies, section views, and production-level drawings for packaged equipment systems with an accent on Revit-based pipe routing, skids, weldments, and multidisciplinary design coordination. Focus on interpreting engineering and process documentation, applying structural and equipment clearance constraints, reviewing models against customer requirements, and delivering accurate BOMs and drawings to purchasing and production.
Location: Houston, TX (TAS-Cullen HQ); onsite position with 80% to 95% desk-based work

What you will do
- Interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams, site layouts, equipment layouts, process flow diagrams, specifications, bills of materials, and general arrangement drawings.
- Create 3D models and layouts for packaged equipment systems, including mating surfaces, library parts, extrusions, assemblies, and exploded views with BOMs.
- Produce layouts and section views with BOMs, callouts, and dimensions for purchasing and production.
- Review scope documents and specifications to verify designs against customer requirements and engineering intent.
- Conduct model reviews with assistance and execute design processes according to department standards.
- Maintain drafting schedules and coordinate effectively with designers, engineers, and other departments.
Requirements
- Experience designing pipe routing, skids, and weldments in Revit.
- Experience with SolidWorks, Microsoft Office, and Google Docs.
- Ability to produce package and plant designs and layouts with knowledge of structural, mechanical, controls, and electrical equipment constraints.
- Mechanical, structural, electrical, and controls design experience.
- Awareness of applicable NEC, IEC, ASME, AISC, AWS, UMC, OSHA, and building codes.
- High school diploma; an associate degree in a technical discipline or graphic design is a plus.
