Mold Maintenance Technician

Location: Vonore, Tennessee, United States; full-time onsite work in a boat manufacturing facility

Salary: $21.85–$24.55 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot molds used to produce boat components.
• Inspect molds for wear, damage, and performance issues, then clean and prepare them for production.
• Diagnose mold defects and complete timely repairs to minimize production downtime.
• Verify that molds meet quality standards and support production schedules by responding to maintenance needs.
• Document inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs.
• Safely operate forklifts and tugger vehicles to transport and stage molds, materials, and finished components.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous mold maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, or related mechanical experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and mechanical or surface defect troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of production environments and manufacturing schedules.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform standing, lifting, bending, and reaching tasks.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and wear required PPE, including respirators, gloves, eye protection, and protective clothing.
