Vice President, Portfolio Management (Commercial Banking)

What you will do

• Analyze, structure, underwrite, and coordinate the closing of major and complex commercial loans.
• Partner with the Vice President, Commercial Banker and Relationship Manager to assess client credit needs and develop financing structures.
• Prepare financing requests and supporting analysis for senior management or Loan Committee approval.
• Coordinate approved loan processing, documentation, servicing, and issue resolution.
• Monitor portfolio credit risks and maintain compliance with bank policies and applicable banking regulations.
• Support customer service and portfolio management activities for new and existing loans.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in portfolio management or a similar field.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of commercial banking operations, including deposits, loan administration, treasury management, and related products.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of commercial credit, loan structuring, pricing dynamics, and applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations.
• Completed credit analyst training.
• Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
