Laboratory Technician (Part-time Temporary) (Built Environment Testing)

Location: Onsite in Cary, NC, USA; candidates must live within a commutable distance. Schedule: up to 20 hours per week, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Pay: Up to $16 per hour

What you will do

• Prepare and handle samples for laboratory analysis.
• Log in client samples and support sample tracking.
• Clean, maintain, and prepare glassware and laboratory equipment.
• Assist with quality control administration and general laboratory tasks.
• Receive customer correspondence and route information to the appropriate personnel.
• Stock laboratory supplies and support special projects.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in physical science or life science.
• Strong computer, scientific, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, follow instructions, and comply with SOPs.
• Detail orientation, adaptability, effective written and verbal communication, and the ability to handle moderate stress.
• Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
