QC Testing Technician I (HVAC)

Location: Redmond, Oregon, United States; onsite, full-time

Salary: $25.29–$37.94 per hour

What you will do

• Perform electrical and software tests on large HVAC equipment with exposed voltages up to 1000V AC/DC.
• Inspect and test electrical components, document test records, and evaluate test data accurately.
• Create, document, and update test procedures.
• Lead pre- and post-test assembly and disassembly across all voltage classes.
• Use manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot problems and determine effective solutions.
• Support engineering staff and supervise, mentor, or train technicians and crews as required.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of fan systems, pumps, compressors, VFDs, PLCs, and electromechanical controls.
• Ability to work safely and independently with high-voltage electrical equipment.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, troubleshooting, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work with engineers, senior leadership, customers, and technicians.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and sit or stand for up to 95% of working hours.
• Ability to work onsite in Redmond, Oregon, including exposure to seasonal temperatures, dust, and some chemical fumes.
