Specialist, Quality Assurance (Electrical)

Location: Onsite at a working plant site in Wilmington, Delaware, United States; local travel to other hirify.global work sites is required.

What you will do

• Plan and manage electrical construction projects and verify installation accuracy.
• Act as a startup commissioning electrician.
• Coordinate with coworkers and subcontractors on electrical installations, terminations, and final checkout of MCCs and DCS/PLC cabinets.
• Review field equipment terminations and verify complete installation of gear panels, DCS/PLC cabinets, and devices.
• Identify and correct quality issues, ensuring installations meet applicable codes and defined requirements.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of electrical experience at an industrial plant site.
• Experience installing motor control centers, high-voltage switchgear, distribution panels, and control panels.
• Strong understanding of high- and low-voltage terminations, electrical inspections, problem resolution, and electrical operations.
• Strong knowledge of National Electrical Codes.
• Licensed electrician with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to work in a plant and construction-site environment, use required PPE, climb, walk extensively, and lift up to 20 pounds.
