Senior Data Manager (GEOINT)

Salary: $160,000–$190,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Provide technical and managerial leadership for overhead satellite imagery data preprocessing operations.
• Oversee data acquisition, curation, databases, and preprocessing pipelines across the full data operations lifecycle.
• Conduct quality control of data holdings and ensure compliance with requirements and priorities.
• Optimize pipeline efficiency and performance across EO, FMV, HMI, and SAR sensor modalities.
• Lead team members, initiate projects, and drive execution through completion.
• Act as the primary customer communication interface, translating requirements into successful delivery.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI/Poly.
• People management experience, including team or project leadership and independent project ownership.
• Experience in quantitative analysis, data operations, visualization, data manipulation, and ETL procedures.
• Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, database management, data pipelines, and cloud architectures.
• Experience working with large, complex geospatial data files and formats.
• Strategic problem-solving ability and excellent communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agile or SAFe methodologies.
• Experience with NGA enterprise technology systems, including NGA CORE and MLOps.
• GEOINT Professional Certification – Fundamentals (F).
• Experience applying AI/ML technologies to geospatial data.
