Senior Operations Data Analyst (AI)

Location: Remote. All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada. Light travel to Mingomba or exploration sites around the world is required when necessary.

Salary: $100,000–$125,000 base salary plus equity and benefits.

hirify.global develops AI models and novel sensors to guide mineral exploration programs focused on discovering copper, lithium, and other critical mineral deposits.

What you will do

• Build new data models, ETL and API integrations, and support applications including Foundry.
• Own the OPSDB platform, ensuring synchronization reliability, data quality, alerting, and production support.
• Implement governance practices including RBAC, scoped roles, the dbt semantic layer, and technical documentation.
• Support Mingomba operations through the commitments register and coordination with Procurement, Inventory, and other functions.
• Own data systems and stakeholder relationships end to end with minimal oversight.
• Mentor junior analysts and collaborate with geologists and non-technical domain experts.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data operations, independently owning production systems.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills, including PostgreSQL.
• Proven experience with ETL and API integration.
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini.
• Ability to explain technical problems clearly and collaborate with non-technical domain experts.
• Valid passport, willingness to travel, and legal authorization to work in the United States or Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience with dbt, AWS/S3, finance systems such as NetSuite or Tipalti, or geospatial data.
• Interest in mineral exploration and geology, including working directly with geologists in the field.
• Experience in a fast-growing early-stage company and comfort with evolving responsibilities.
