Assistant Health & Wellness Manager (Nurse) - Assisted Living (Nursing)

What you will do

• Provide direct, individualized nursing care and systematically assess residents' physical, emotional, social, educational, and functional needs.
• Interpret assessment data and integrate medical orders and care plans into daily nursing care.
• Administer medications according to physician orders and nursing policies, document administration, and monitor adverse reactions.
• Maintain resident charts, care documentation, monthly summaries, and incident or accident reports.
• Supervise CNAs, HHAs, and other nursing personnel, including assignments, special instructions, orientation, and resident-care activities.
• Respond to emergencies, monitor meals and diets, ensure call lights are answered promptly, and maintain a safe therapeutic unit environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, one to two years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination.
• At least one year of nursing experience in a healthcare facility.
• Current, active LPN/LVN or RN license in the state where the community facility is located.
• English fluency sufficient to speak, read, write, and communicate with residents, coworkers, supervisors, and third parties.
• Proficiency in clinical techniques, including emergency procedures, skin management, hydration therapy, and other nursing procedures.
• Excellent supervisory skills and the ability to work with elderly, ill, disabled, emotionally upset, or hostile residents.
